everything is spotless and brand-new. the hotel's location is particularly good and perfect, so close to the beach, great restaurants, and the sea front where there are many restaurants. they have a pool bar.

The pool area was quite inviting and well-maintained.
The room I stayed in felt outdated and lacked sufficient amenities. The beds were hard. I found the hotel's location to be somewhat inconvenient, with a significant uphill walk back from the beach, which may not suit everyone.

Staff were very helpful and the rooms were kept very clean. We were also given a bottle of port on arrival which was made by the father in this family run hotel, it was lovely! I would definately stay here again and would recommend to anyone.
It would have been nice if a shuttle service was provided from the port to hotel and vice versa.

The Castro Hotel boasts immaculate facilities with a welcoming family touch. Breakfast was always fresh and varied, but a greater selection of fruit would enhance the experience. Although the location is slightly remote for nightlife, it provides a peaceful retreat following busy days exploring Kamari.

Location near to the sea front where there are many restaurants and shops and bars and restaurants. Tastefully decorated hotel room with a comfy bed and private bathroom.

The swimming pool is very nice, and the hotel is located in a very quiet area of Kamari, just 5 minutes walking to the center and 6 km from Thira town. Infrastructures are new and modern, both in the hotel and in the rooms. Rooms' terraces are big and we had a great sea and pool view .The sunset in Santorini is very famous but everybody forget the sunrise . From Hotel Castro sunrise was amazing and beautifull
The layers in the beds were very comfortable and very important for us was that the bathroom had a curtain and ventilation.

Clean and Comfortable with Room for Improvement
I had a brief but good stay, enjoying the spacious and impeccably clean suite. The pool was a great feature, great for relaxation after a day of exploring. The breakfast options were plentiful, although a bit repetitive each day. It would have been nice to have clearer guidance on local amenities, as that aspect was somewhat lacking .

The hotel was very clean and well maintained, with a spacious yet homey feel to it. The owners were so friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool was a definite selling feature - pristine and very comfortable, providing an amazing view of the hills and a great relief from the extreme heat. It was a perfect way to spend time quietly relaxing and reading when the heat was too much. It was a 5 minute walk to the waterfront and ammenities, as well as to buses to get to other towns. This place was incredible value for what they charge. Morning breakfasts were provided with care, including homemade baked goods and authentic yogurt. I would return to the hotel without hesitation next time!

Very good value for money. The rooms are good, with nice balconies. Although the location is not on the beachfront, that is probably preferable as it is more peaceful. Good size swimming pool. Excellent hospitality and friendliness; the owners will go the extra mile for you. The breakfast is great, especially the homemade fig jam. Castro may not be a luxurious hotel (it does not pretend to be) but it is full of little personal touches and details that made our stay great.
